July 10 Recently decided ...So, I occasionally watch Sex in the City on cable. Not the original super-dirty version, just the slightly cleaned up version. There is a certain level of amusement just in the ridiculousness of the whole show. I identify with one girl, am incredibly appalled with one, respect one and almosta sorta wish I could be one, sometimes.
Tonight I flipped it on and now I've decided that in my opinion Carrie Bradshaw does NOT know how to dress in any way shape or form. I get that she's trying to be trendsetting and cutting edge, but I just think she generally looks RIDICULOUS. I saw her today in an outfit of almost brocaded dark red and blue, western type shirt tied tight at the waist and a white/blue plaid pair of tight capris. What is that???
I realize a lot of people might think she looks great and I may even be possible for HER to pull the looks off but we should all remember that she is a fictional character in what is, when compared to the reality, a fictional city. Just finally felt I needed to make this a point. I think that at least half of Carrie Bradshaw's outfits look crazy and everyone seems SO impressed with her. I feel compelled to attempt to be the voice of reason.
